<p>Bitcoin is gearing up for a historic rally after breaking its all-time high (ATH) three times since 5 November.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>With pro-crypto Donald Trump now confirmed as the next US president, how far can Bitcoin go in the remainder of 2024?&nbsp;</p>

<p>As such, Bitcoin’s price is showing strength not seen for a long time, currently trading comfortably above its previous ATH from March 2024.</p> 
<p>Should its previous high continue to act as support, this is a clear springboard for further growth.</p> 
<p>Moreover, the US Federal Reserve is expected to cut interest rates later today, with the <a href="https://www.cmegroup.com/markets/interest-rates/cme-fedwatch-tool.html" target="_blank">CME FedWatch tool</a> suggesting a 98.1% chance of a rate cut.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Last time rates were cut in September, Bitcoin rallied from lows of $58k to $67k in one month.</p> 
<p>However, with BTC now in price discovery, the opportunity for growth is even more pronounced.</p> 
<p>Donald Trump was elected the next US president yesterday, and he’s famously pro-crypto, even saying he wants to make America “the crypto capital of the planet.”</p> 
<p>Also, over 240 congressional electees were pro-Bitcoin, negating a chokepoint in passing or removing laws to ensure the crypto industry’s growth.</p> 
<p>It also bolsters the likelihood of pro-crypto initiatives being implemented. For instance, Senator Lummis put forward a bill for the U.S. Government to buy 200,000 Bitcoin per year over five years.&nbsp;</p>

<p>With an unprecedented tailwind of US government support, the future looks bright for Bitcoin and the crypto industry.</p> 
<p>As such, analyst Pentosh1 is confident that BTC will hit $100k in the coming months.</p>
