The surge in Solana (<a href="https://yellow.com/asset/sol">SOL</a>) cryptocurrency the last month is testimonial to the upswing in the meme coins market. And if you go by the 10% <a href="https://www.cryptotimes.io/2024/11/07/solana-up-10-percentage-this-month-cutoshi-aims-to-boost-ethereum/">monthly increase</a> in SOL’s price it's clear that this year's gains are far from over. 
Although Ethereum (<a href="https://yellow.com/asset/eth">ETH</a>) was lagging amidst the surge of Solana, it can soon gain ground and start rivaling SOL. 
The number of Solana active wallets doubled in the last 5 days as it went from $162.67 to $182.79, showing a 12% monthly gain. The year-to-date gain was even massive at 401%, indicating that SOL is just warming by hovering near the $190 mark. 
The coin is likely to touch $200 and go beyond it as Kiln and VanEck have teamed to better the Solana staking access for big investors. This is part the latter's bet on bridging the gap between traditional finance and SOL. Meanwhile, the staking expertise of Kiln will make SOL an attractive trading options for institutional investors, causing it to rally further. 
In the middle of this, a new Ethereum-based meme coin Cutoshi (CUTO) has drawn the attention of investors as it unites real world utility with meme energy. Everyone who is buying the CUTO token at the $0.022 price in its stage 3 presale is expected to get a 20% bonus on their deposits. Cutoshi could take the Ethereum blockchain to new heights through its mix range of features.
