Outlier Ventures and Singularity Finance have partnered to introduce the RWA Base Camp Accelerator, a focused initiative to assist new businesses in the real-world assets (RWA) space.
For the 12-week accelerator, selected startups will receive $100,000 in funding and access expert guidance from Outlier Ventures on crucial domains such as legal frameworks, token design, community-building strategies, tokenomics, fundraising, pitch refinement, and workshops.
This collaboration follows Outlier Ventures’ recent partnership with SingularityDAO to support the AI x Crypto Base Camp accelerator program, another initiative aimed at providing emerging AI and blockchain startups with resources and expertise.
This expanded relationship with Singularity Finance aligns with a larger vision: to drive growth in sectors where blockchain technology and traditional finance converge.&nbsp;
SingularityDAO’s October announcement of a merger with Cogito Finance and SelfKey, consolidating their tokens under Singularity Finance (SFI), further demonstrates this ambition by creating unified, tokenizing assets and AI-focused Layer-2 ecosystem within the broader blockchain landscape.
Tokenizing real-world assets has broader implications than simply bridging crypto and traditional finance—it represents a potential transformation across multiple industries.
Outlier Ventures recently published a thesis exploring the impacts of RWA tokenization, projecting that blockchain-based assets will reshape various sectors by enhancing liquidity, transparency, and accessibility. This movement supports Outlier Ventures’ vision of blockchain as a foundation for a more efficient, interconnected financial system.
Benjamin Meyer, Chief Growth Officer at Outlier Ventures, highlighted the partnership’s value: “We are thrilled to expand our strategic partnership with Singularity Finance to support Outlier Ventures’ RWA Base Camp cohort. Through our combined expertise and network, we’ll help founders scale effectively and make meaningful contributions to the RWA ecosystem.”
Cloris Chen, CEO of Singularity Finance, underscored the potential for growth, noting that with Outlier Ventures’ extensive Web3 experience, Singularity’s Layer-2 network could become a prime platform for high-quality projects in the blockchain space.
The RWA Base Camp program, now closed to new applications, runs until January 2025. Participants will present their progress and contributions to the RWA ecosystem at a virtual Demo Day.
