Kevin Mirshahi, a famous <a href="https://news.todayq.com/zachxbt-exposes-crypto-influencers-pump-and-dump-scheme/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">influencer</a> from the crypto world has been found dead in a park in Montreal, Canada. The influencer was kidnapped from a residential unit in June 2024. On October 30, a witness has found the body at lle-de-la Visitation Park and informed the police.&nbsp;
In an interview, the local police revealed the happening to the Gazette, a Canadian-English newspaper. The body was sent for an autopsy after which the body was confirmed and identified as Mirshahi.&nbsp; Increasing concerns in the crypto world&nbsp; 
On November 13, the Gazette has reported that, the influencer was last seen on June 21, after which he along with his three friends got kidnapped from a residential unit in Montreal. Except for Mirshahi, the other three somehow managed to run away.&nbsp;
This episode has led to an increasing concern related to the abductions of influencers and officials related to the crypto industry for the sake of money. The chief executive official of WonderFi, Dean Skurka has also been kidnapped last week and was forced to pay $1 million money for set him free.&nbsp;
An investigation in the case of Mirshahi is still going on. And at the same time, the Canadian media outlet has reported that Joanie Lepage, a woman from Canada got arrested in August with charges of first-degree murder of the influencer.&nbsp;
Mirshahi had set his foot in the Montreal crypto community and has also owned and operated a private crypto investment firm commonly known as “Crypto Paradise Island.” Many users of the social media platform, X has claimed Mirshahi as a scammer and posted that they have been scammed by the influencer.&nbsp; More abductions for the sake of money&nbsp; 
In 2021, The Autorite des marches financers, the investment regulator of Quebec has also banned Mirshahi along with two others from working as a broker or investment adviser. He had so far received notice which stated to stop posting any related content over social media platforms. 
The regulating body has also outstretched the ban on July 4, two weeks after the kidnap of the famous influencer, Mishahi. In this year, in July, four persons were arrested with claims of reportedly abducting first and then murdering a 29-year-old foreigner Bitcoiner in Kyiv, Ukraine who theft $170,000 worth of Bitcoin.&nbsp;
Six citizens of Malaysia were also alleged of abducting a citizen of China and after that asking for $1 million worth of stablecoin Tether for ransom towards the end of August 2024. These cases have clearly spread a threat to the crypto world.&nbsp;
