According to the latest development, cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase announced that it will list the io.net (IO) altcoin on the futures market. 
IO, which was previously launched via Binance Launchpool, is naturally currently traded on the spot market. 
Interestingly, IO is also currently available on the spot market on Coinbase, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the US. This is unusual as Coinbase usually lists altcoins on the futures market first, then on the spot market. 
IO can be described more as an artificial intelligence token in terms of altcoin theme. The token has a considerable market value of $295 million. However, the IO price suddenly gained more than 5% after the Coinbase listing. 
The IO token touts the ecosystem that feeds it as the world’s largest decentralized AI computing power.
