Trump aims to create a “Crypto Advisory Council” to promote the industry. Armstrong will likely influence key decisions, including who might replace SEC Chair Gary Gensler.</p>

<p>As the Wall Street Journal reported, Trump met with <a target="_blank" href="https://x.com/brian_armstrong" rel="noreferrer noopener">the CEO</a> of Coinbase. Trump has shown a growing interest in cryptocurrency. During his election campaign, he promised to create a “Bitcoin and Crypto Presidential Advisory Council” within his first 100 days in office. This council would aim to bring clear rules to the crypto industry and help the U.S. become a leader.</p>
