eCash (XEC) is a <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/preparing-for-the-next-bull-run-how-to-make-a-long-term-altcoin-investment/" data-wpel-link="internal">cryptocurrency</a> designed to function as electronic cash. It is a rebranded version of Bitcoin Cash ABC and was created by a team led by Amaury Séchet, the lead developer of Bitcoin Cash (BCH).

On November 15, 2020, the Bitcoin Cash blockchain underwent a split, with one part remaining as the Bitcoin Cash we have today and the other becoming the Bitcoin Cash ABC chain. This chain introduced its own cryptocurrency known as BCHA. Over the following months, further changes were planned. In the summer of 2021, BCHA announced that it would rebrand itself as eCash (XEC). 
eCash serves as a means of exchange that allows people to buy and sell items online without the need for a bank account. 
The technical whitepaper states: “eCash is the natural continuation of the Bitcoin Cash project. Realizing the legendary vision of Milton Friedman, eCash delivers significant promises such as the innovative <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/avalanche-avax-gains-investor-attention-with-strong-performance/" data-wpel-link="internal">Avalanche</a> consensus layer, while introducing concepts never before seen in a Bitcoin project, such as staking, fork-free network upgrades, and subchains.” 
Additionally, at its core, eCash is a fork of Bitcoin. However, questions remain about whether it can step out of its predecessor’s shadow after rebranding. Moreover, XEC operates in fractions of a cent. While there is nothing inherently wrong with this, the very low price could potentially deter some individuals from investing in cryptocurrency. 
According to statements, XEC is fundamentally different from Bitcoin: instead of a proof-of-work mechanism, it uses a proof-of-stake consensus model. This, at least in theory, makes it one of the more energy-efficient options in the crypto world. 
<h2 style="text-align: justify" id="where-to-buy-xec-coin">Where to Buy XEC Coin?</h2> 
XEC Coin can be securely bought and sold on <a href="https://accounts.binance.com/en/register?ref=QBIBRK4D" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow noreferrer" data-wpel-link="external">Binance</a>, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume. On <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/nigerian-court-delays-binance-laundering-case/" data-wpel-link="internal">Binance</a>, XEC Coin is traded in pairs such as XEC/USDT and XEC/BUSD. 
To purchase XEC, you first need to register on the <a href="https://accounts.binance.com/en/register?ref=QBIBRK4D" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow noreferrer" data-wpel-link="external">Binance</a> exchange. Once the registration is complete, you need to transfer either cryptocurrency or fiat currency to your Binance wallet. After the transfer is complete, you can purchase XEC Coin through any of the three trading pairs mentioned above. To buy through the XEC/USDT pair, navigate to the interface of this pair. In the limit section of the XEC/USDT interface, enter the desired purchase amount. After specifying the amount, complete the purchase by placing a Buy XEC order.
