<p>Forta, a blockchain security company, has just announced a new web3 security tool called Forta Firewall, which is designed to identify and block malicious smart contract exploits. Backed by a16z crypto and Coinbase Ventures, Firewall makes use of its AI-powered FORTRESS model to analyze on-chain transactions in real-time. It gives risk scores from 0 to 1-in other words, it tells the chances of malicious intent behind it and blocks high-risk transactions before they are included in a block.</p>  
<p>It is a newly developed tool specifically intended to mitigate such exploits as reentrancy attacks and oracle manipulations on both Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains.
