BlackRock’s spot Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) options completed their first day of trading yesterday. After IBIT achieved a great success by reaching $1.9 billion in trading volume on its first day, Grayscale also made a critical move.
Grayscale Investments announced that it plans to launch options trading on spot Bitcoin ETFs.
Accordingly, Grayscale announced that it will launch options trading on GBTC (Grayscale Bitcoin Trust) and BTC (Bitcoin Mini Trust).

Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart noted the speed of Grayscale’s move following the OCC’s approval and said Grayscale wasted no time in moving into options.
