<p>The Chillguy memecoin is inspired by the “My New Character” meme which features a dog character that is described as a chill guy that “lowkey doesn’t give a f*ck.”</p> 
<p>The dog character has a human body, wearing a great sweater, blue jeans, and red shoes. The drawing was originally shared in a tweet on X, by user philb (Philipp Banks) in late 2023.</p> 
<p>This year, the meme went viral on TikTok where users inserted the character into various formats like an exploitable.</p> 
<p>The meme gained popularity on platforms like X and TikTok, and led to the creation of the CHILLGUY <a href="https://crypto.ro/en/dictionary/memecoin/">memecoin</a> on November 18.</p>
