This includes appointments to agencies like the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC)—two powerful entities with significant influence over the regulatory landscape for digital assets.

Among the names under consideration for these roles are Hester Peirce. She has earned the moniker "Crypto Mom" for her staunch support of a more open and transparent regulatory environment for cryptocurrencies.
