<p>The Sui network recovered following an issue that lasted for around two hours earlier today, causing downtime for the mainnet.</p> 
<h2 id="sui-validators-resolved-the-issue">Sui Validators Resolved the Issue</h2> 
<p>The team behind the Sui network shared a post via X about an hour ago, saying that the network is back up, processing transactions again, thanks to the swift work from the incredible community of Sui validators.</p> 
<p>They also <a href="https://x.com/SuiNetwork/status/1859569509687849469" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">noted</a> that the downtime which lasted about 2 hours was caused by a bug in transaction scheduling logic that caused validators to crash. Meanwhile, everything has been reportedly resolved.</p> 
<p>On the official website showing the Sui status, the Sui mainnet looks operational now, following the previous issue. This was the first time when the mainnet experienced such issues since its May 2023 launch.</p> 
<p>Apart from the validators’ issues with the mainnet, everything else is showing 100% uptime for Sui.</p>

<h2 id="sui-network-s-latest-outage">Sui Network’s Latest Outage</h2> 
<p>According to the same official data, today around 2:39 PST, the team was currently investigating the issue.</p> 
<p>On their X account, the team at Sui also <a href="https://x.com/SuiNetwork/status/1859557679909204365" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">released</a> an official service announcement about two hours ago, saying that the Sui network was experiencing an outage and not processing transactions.</p> 
<p>They also noted that they have identified the issue and a fix was on its way to be deployed. They told followers that they appreciated their patience and they would continue to send updates.</p> 
<p>At 3:47 PST, the team noted that the issue had been resolved after the v1.37.4 patch had been rolled out on Mysten Validators and announced publicly for immediate rollout.</p> 
<p>The Sui team showed swift actions to resolve the issue in a short amount of time, leading the project’s followers to say that the restoration of the Sui network is truly impressive. It’s reassuring to see the resilience of the network and the dedication of its validators.</p>
