<p>Finally, constant innovation works in favor of Bitcoin. BRC-20 tokens, which emerged in 2023, paved the way for unprecedented applications. These innovations have even prompted previously skeptical investors to reconsider their position. The result: Layer 2 is no longer a niche but a locomotive.<br></p> 
<h2 id="h-une-decennie-de-promesses"><strong>A decade of promises</strong></h2> 
<p>With a total addressable market estimated at 47 billion dollars by 2030, Layer 2s are emerging as a strategic growth lever for Bitcoin. However, not everything is settled in advance. While 75 projects are currently building this ecosystem, Galaxy Research forecasts that only three to five actors will emerge as leaders by the end of the decade.</p> 
<p><a href="https://www.galaxy.com/insights/research/bitcoin-layer-2-modular-future/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">This fierce competition</a>, although risky, drives innovation. As the ecosystem matures, the interest of BTC holders in locking their assets on these networks will only increase.</p>
