The Graph

The Graph, a decentralized indexing protocol often likened to Google for blockchain networks, has unveiled a groundbreaking data standard for Web3 applications, named GRC-20. According to The Graph, GRC-20 surpasses the current Resource Description Framework (RDF), which has limitations in addressing the technical needs of Web3.
The framework integrates core concepts, including “Spaces” for grouping information, “Entities” and “Relations” to represent data pieces, and “Types” for adding structure. Developers will define these components, enabling customizable and interoperable applications. The Graph plans to roll out tools to facilitate the adoption of GRC-20 in the coming weeks.
