<p>They can use regular money (also known as fiat currency) right on the ZA Bank app.</p> 
<h5><strong>New Crypto Service Lets Users Buy Bitcoin and Ether with ZA Bank</strong></h5> 
<p>This step helps make sure users understand the risks involved with crypto. This can be a bit like riding a rollercoaster—sometimes up, sometimes down. Right now, ZA Bank is offering only ETH and BTC for purchase, with no other cryptocurrencies mentioned.</p> 
<p>This service was <a href="https://bank.za.group/en/content/2e77475c-f0c0-4d6f-bddc-9aa1121afb95" target="_blank" rel="noopener">launched</a> in partnership with HashKey, a crypto exchange. By teaming up, ZA Bank and HashKey can meet the rules set by Hong Kong’s financial authorities. It will help blend traditional banking with the fast-growing world of crypto. According to Calvin Ng, the alternate chief executive of ZA Bank, this new service will give people more ways to invest.</p>

<p>Livio Weng, CEO of HashKey, added that the partnership will help improve Web3 services, which is a new version of the internet built around blockchain technology, and offer users more financial choices.</p> 
<h5><strong>More About ZA Bank</strong></h5> 
<p>ZA Bank first began testing its crypto service in October with a trial program. Crypto trading has only been legal for retail users in Hong Kong since August 2023, and only three exchanges are currently licensed to operate there. OSL and HashKey received their licenses in 2020 and 2022, and the <a href="https://www.hkvax.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hong Kong Virtual Asset Exchange (HKVAX)</a> became the third to get approval in October.</p>
