<p>The company <a href="https://www.microstrategy.com/press/microstrategy-acquires-55500-btc-and-achieves-btc-yield-of-35-qtd-and-59-ytd-now-holds-386700-btc_11-25-2024" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">announced</a> the deal today at an average price of $97,862 per coin and revealed that the transaction was made on the back of a successful senior note offering last week. The MicroStrategy Bitcoin investment brings the company's total Bitcoin holdings to 386,700 BTC valued at roughly $38 billion at today's prices.</p>  
<p>Known for its aggressive <a href="https://coincu.com/293664-bitcoin-spot-etf-inflows-hit-3-38-billion/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitcoin</a> accumulation strategy, <a href="https://coincu.com/292725-microstrategy-bitcoin-acquisition-reaches-331200/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">MicroStrategy</a> adopted the approach in 2020 and, since then, has grown to be among the largest institutional holders of cryptocurrency. It now ranks as the fourth-biggest Bitcoin holder in the world, behind Satoshi Nakamoto, Binance, and <a href="https://coincu.com/291166-blackrock-bitcoin-etf-has-now-surpassed-gold-etf/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">BlackRock</a>.</p>

<p>The MicroStrategy Bitcoin investment is part of the company's ambitious $42 billion capital plan to secure Bitcoin over the next three years. This month alone, it has <a href="https://coincu.com/293298-microstrategy-convertible-notes-now-out-of-stock/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">raised</a> $3 billion through convertible notes and $6.6 billion in equity, significantly pushing its funding goals forward. Last week's $3 billion sale of convertible debt came with a 0% coupon and a 55% conversion premium.</p>  
<p>Market analysts have reacted positively to the strategy of MicroStrategy. Bernstein projects that by 2033, the firm could hold 4% of Bitcoin's global supply due to a very ambitious acquisition plan that will deploy $42 billion within 18 months. The broker <a href="https://finance.yahoo.com/news/analysts-overhaul-microstrategy-stock-price-120052143.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">increased</a> its 2025 stock price target for MicroStrategy to $600, citing confidence in its approach and the broader market potential of Bitcoin.</p>
