U.S. MetaMask users can buy cryptocurrency directly with Venmo via the MetaMask app or browser extension. The new feature brings the crypto offering closer to the masses by allowing users to link their Venmo accounts as a payment option. 
The announcement by MetaMask on their X account shared that the feature is widely available in the U.S. However it’s not available in New York or Texas because of local regulations.&nbsp;

The announcement also came with a tutorial video. To use Venmo to buy crypto in MetaMask, all you have to do is select Venmo as your payment option when buying out on checkboxes. By integrating with Venmo, crypto buying becomes simpler and more accessible to Venmo users. 
Venmo has recently <a href="https://www.cryptopolitan.com/venmo-partners-moonpay-users-crypto/">started</a> crypto transactions directly using Moonpay. It allows users to send, receive, and manage cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, or PayPal USD (PYUSD) in the app.
