<a href="https://s.technology/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Serenity</a>, a technology and blockchain solution provider, and <a href="https://www.idemia.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">IDEMIA Secure Transactions</a> (IST), a worldwide leader in payment and connectivity&nbsp;solutions, have announced the release of <a href="https://s.technology/Serenity/#products" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">sAxess</a>, a biometric security card designed to increase data access control, security, and recovery. Together with Serenity’s expertise&nbsp;of blockchain technology, the relationship with IDEMIA Secure Transactions leverages IDEMIA’s vast network and proficiency in payment and connectivity solutions, which span 1,900 financial institutions and FinTech customers globally.
Before the year is out, the biometric card will be rolled out&nbsp;all over the world in an effort to satisfy the growing need for safe, scalable data management solutions for businesses and people handling complicated digital assets. Through this partnership, Serenity was able to introduce the sAxess biometric card, which combines IDEMIA Secure Transactions’ proficiency in cutting-edge biometric smart cards with Serenity’s blockchain technology to provide a unique hybrid approach to security.
To make sure that only authorized people can access critical data, sAxess uses fingerprint authentication and other biometrics, in contrast to conventional PINs or passwords. Its use of IST’s B.CHAIN hardware wallet, which is supported by cutting-edge smart card security and biometrics to provide a strong crypto cold storage solution and advanced secure authentication—meaning users can manage and access their digital assets directly—further strengthens its security. Its self-custody strategy offers control and less exposure to third-party risks by eliminating the need for middlemen.
Serenity’s patent-pending data recovery technology is part of sAxess, which provides safe channels for data access under certain circumstances. Using non-fungible tokens (NFTs) as safe credentials in a “digital safe,” the system offers a decentralized, immutable&nbsp;way to store and retrieve important data. Additionally, this enables users to specify certain requirements for approved data access, such inheritance. This ensures data recovery without sacrificing privacy, going beyond the ways that sensitive information is currently managed for both people and companies.
