<p>A California court has ruled to expedite judgment in the <a href="https://casetext.com/case/in-re-ripple-labs-litig-4" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">In re Ripple Labs Inc</a> litigation, a procedural win for Ripple that has been misinterpreted by some as a victory in its ongoing case against the SEC.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-court-approves-expedited-judgment">Court Approves Expedited Judgment</h2>
<p>In the latest California district court <a href="https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.cand.334410/gov.uscourts.cand.334410.444.1.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">ruling</a>, the judge approved modifications to the judgment and stay order in the XRP lawsuit. The court granted the request because both parties agreed to speed up the judgment while the class claims are being resolved. The plaintiff also requested an “express finding in an amended judgment” to avoid confusion and uncertainties in the final resolution.</p>
