<p>The news was announced via the exchange's official X account, which can be described as the platform's continued expansion of its trading products.</p>  
<p>By this statement, SOL and <a href="https://coincu.com/256342-coinbase-launches-pepe-perpetual-futures/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">meme coin PEPE</a> will, for the first time, boast trading pairs with the United States dollar and euro. Considering that Bitstamp has long had operations running in the crypto market, this support for the two coins represents a notable broadening of its listings.</p>  
<p>Listing Solana is a reversal for <a href="https://coincu.com/267392-bitstamp-to-mt-gox-creditors-within-60-days/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitstamp</a>, which suspended trading of SOL and six other cryptocurrencies in August 2023. That followed the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's classification of the tokens as unregistered securities.</p>  
<p>However, with recent changes in leadership at the top of the SEC, including the resignation of chairman <a href="https://coincu.com/293303-sec-chair-gary-gensler-will-lose-power/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Gary Gensler</a>, there seems to be a softer, more crypto-friendly regulatory regime now.
