<p>​Tonkeeper, a prominent non-custodial wallet for the TON blockchain, has partnered with global payment platform Mercuryo to launch an exclusive campaign for Indonesian users. Running from November 25 to December 15, the three-week initiative offers discounted transaction fees for users purchasing crypto via popular Indonesian payment methods, as per Tonkeeper’s latest <a href="https://chainwire.org/2024/11/28/tonkeeper-launches-exclusive-indonesian-payment-campaign-with-mercuryo/">press release</a>.</p>   
<p>The campaign aims to make crypto purchases more affordable and accessible by providing significantly discounted rates for various payment options widely used in Indonesia. Fees are reduced to 1.9% for BNI and BRI transactions, 2.3% for QRIS, 3.5% for DANA, 3.9% for ShopeePay, and 4.2% for OVO payments. These rates represent a substantial cut from the standard fees, giving users a cost-effective entry into the TON blockchain ecosystem.</p>   
<p>To participate in the campaign, users simply need to open the Tonkeeper app, navigate to the Browser Tab and select Mercuryo. By leveraging Mercuryo’s seamless integration with Tonkeeper, users can enjoy a streamlined experience with reduced fees and no hidden costs.</p>   
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-the-emerging-hotspot-for-crypto-adoption">The Emerging Hotspot For Crypto Adoption</h2>   
<p>Notably, Indonesia is emerging as a hotspot for crypto adoption, fueled by a tech-savvy population, a rapidly growing digital economy, and increasing access to blockchain-based financial tools. Indonesia has particularly witnessed a surge in cryptocurrency interest among younger generation, looking for alternative investment opportunities and digital payment solutions.</p>   
<p>Additionally, the government’s receptive approach to regulating cryptocurrencies, along with widespread mobile payment adoption through platforms like QRIS, DANA, and ShopeePay, has created a fruitful ground for crypto growth.</p>

<p>This collaboration underscores Tonkeeper’s commitment to delivering value to its global user base. It is kicking off with an Early Bird Black Friday Special for Indonesian users,&nbsp;enabling greater participation in the TON blockchain ecosystem.</p>   
<p>Running until December 15, the campaign enables Indonesian users to save on crypto purchases while exploring Tonkeeper app’s robust features, including secure wallet management and app integrations.</p>   
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-indonesia-hits-record-transactions">Indonesia Hits Record Transactions</h2>   
<p>In a recent development, Indonesian crypto transactions have hit a new record of 475 trillion rupiah ($30 billion) in 2024. This marks a 350% jump from $6.5 billion in 2023. Indonesia’s crypto market shows strong growth in the global space, with crypto transaction numbers reaching all-time highs and setting new benchmarks for digital asset adoption in Southeast Asia.</p>   
<p>The country now has 21 million traders, marking significant market penetration. Of these, 716,000 use local registered exchanges, making Indonesia one of the world’s biggest crypto markets and a key player in global digital asset trading.</p>
