<h2 id="b-what-is-illuvium-beyond-b">What Is Illuvium Beyond?</h2> 
For context, Illuvium Beyond is different from the three core games released by the Illuvium team earlier this year. Unlike its fellows, this title is a question of collecting and trading NFT cards.&nbsp; 
Players are ranked on a leaderboard according to how rare and complete their collection of virtual cards is. That mode is available on the Illuvium website and provides franchise fans with a more casual collection-style experience. 
<h2 id="b-the-g-shock-collabor-b">The G-Shock Collabor</h2> 
The partnership boasts six characters dubbed Illuvitar, who flaunt G-Shock-themed gear. Each character is reimagined in designs influenced by the rugged and innovative aesthetic of G-Shock. For example, the spiritual monkey character Aapon has a body suit resembling a signature G-Shock watch. 
We’re now 3 waves deep into NFT card releases made available via Illuvium Beyond. Each of the G-Shock-themed Illuvitar will have one of three backgrounds and will be released in both holographic and non-holographic (also known simply as “normal”) format, meaning there are a total of 108 unique variations for collectors to hunt after. 
The collection will be available for sale from December 9 to December 22, priced at $35 per digital card pack, referred to as a “D1SK.” Additionally, every buyer of 20 or more D1SKs will also get a limited edition Illuvium-branded G-Shock physical watch.

This is far from Illumina Beyond’s first rodeo when it comes to collaborations. The game has previously partnered with other popular brands like GameStop and Team Liquid to create exclusive limited-edition card sets.&nbsp; 
These partnerships create a cosmos to Illuvium Beyond for collectors and enthusiasts wanting to experience gaming and branded experiences. 
Illuvium Beyond was launched in 2023 as a standalone collecting experience while fans waited for the release of Illuvium’s core games. The idea of creating a virtual card collection was attractive to players who enjoy the pursuit of high-value assets and collecting particular themed sets.

Illuvium’s wider gaming ecosystem has caused a stir with its triumvirate of title offerings—Illuvium: Overworld, Arena, and Zero*—which landed earlier this year. Ranging across genres, these connected games are built on the Immutable X blockchain: 
Illuvium: Overworld: An open-world survival game in which players collect resources, fix a broken spaceship, and capture creatures referred to as Illuvials. 
Illuvium: Arena: A strategy-based auto-battler utilizing collected Illuvials for competitive clashes.
