 Binance has revamped its P2P Merchant Program, unveiling a three-tier reward system—Bronze, Silver, and Gold—to recognize verified merchants based on their trade volume and performance.

The exchange <a style="color: #0000ff;" href="https://www.binance.com/zh-CN/support/announcement/binance-p2p-launches-merchant-program-upgrade-0bb68382f3404f8195b9e3cfc96683c9" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">claims </a>the update targeted at encouraging higher trading standards and enhancing user experiences on the platform. The new tiers come with distinct benefits. Bronze merchants, typically new or verified traders with consistent trading activity, receive a Bronze badge, a 20% fee refund, access to shared ad inventory, fast release and cancellation options, and round-the-clock customer support.
Silver merchants, who must achieve a minimum monthly trading volume of 6 BTC or $200,000 USDT with a 98% completion rate, enjoy additional perks, including a 30% fee refund and a Silver badge.
The Gold tier, reserved for top-tier performers with a trading volume exceeding 60 BTC or $2,000,000 USDT and maintaining a 98% completion rate, offers the highest benefits. These include a 50% fee refund and the prestigious Gold badge.
This tiered system not only incentivizes merchants to perform better but also strengthens Binance’s commitment to rewarding excellence within its P2P marketplace.
In addition to this P2P update, <a style="color: #0000ff;" href="https://defi-planet.com/2024/12/binance-futures-launches-aero-and-kaia-usdt-perpetual-contracts-with-up-to-75x-leverage/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Binance has expanded its Futures platform with new offerings</a>. On December 4, 2024, Binance introduced USDT perpetual contracts for Aerodome Finance (AERO) and Kaia (KAIA), further diversifying its futures product range. The KAIAUSDT contract went live at 14:00 UTC, followed by the AEROUSDT contract at 14:15 UTC.
Both contracts support leverage of up to 75x and are integrated with Binance Futures’ multi-assets mode. Additionally, financing rates for these contracts range from +2.00% to -2.00%, calculated every four hours, offering traders a wide array of opportunities for leveraged trading.
Meanwhile, <a href="https://defi-planet.com/2024/12/former-binance-ceo-cz-declines-to-resume-role-despite-pardon-proposal/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Changpeng Zhao, the former CEO of Binance,</a> has made it clear that he has no plans to return to his previous role despite receiving support from the crypto community. On December 2, CZ responded to a suggestion by John Lilic, the Executive Director of the Telos Foundation, who proposed that President-elect Donald Trump consider pardoning him due to his past criminal charges and a subsequent four-month prison sentence.
