Furthermore, the U.S. Government attracted attention by moving $1.9 billion worth of BTC to a new address. Additionally, Trump’s appointment of Paul Atkins as SEC Chairman is seen as a promising step for the future of cryptocurrencies.

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse attributed XRP’s rally to SEC Chairman Gary Gensler resigning and Ripple’s legal victories. 
Meanwhile, XRP Ledger developers took steps to update the mainnet for transaction optimization.
