WUSD, backed 1:1 by US dollars and collateralized by high-quality liquid assets, will now operate seamlessly within Fractal’s Bitcoin ecosystem.&nbsp; 
According to the press release, this integration addresses a major gap in Bitcoin’s financial applications, allowing WUSD to process high volumes of secure, fast, and cost-effective transactions using Fractal’s advanced scaling technology.&nbsp; 
The collaboration also opens doors for regulated, dollar-denominated transactions on Bitcoin, including decentralized trading, lending, and payments. Fractal’s scalability ensures that WUSD transactions remain efficient, even during surges in demand.&nbsp;

Notably, Fractal <a style="color: #0000ff;" href="https://www.bitget.com/news/detail/12560604204671">launched</a> three months ago and has attracted over 2 million active users since then. Spencer Yang, a Core Contributor to the project, stated that the WUSD integration is “a significant milestone” as it tries to “build a comprehensive financial ecosystem” &nbsp;on the Bitcoin blockchain. 
The integration is set to launch in the coming months, with further details to be revealed soon. 
This isn’t the first strategic partnership that WSPN has entered to boost WUSD’s utility. Recently, it <a style="color: #0000ff;" href="https://defi-planet.com/2024/11/worldwide-stablecoin-payment-network-partners-with-viction-ninetyeight-to-boost-wusd-adoption/">announced</a> a collaboration with Viction, a global Layer-1 blockchain, and Ninety-Eight (formerly Coin98), a crypto exchange, to promote the stablecoin’s adoption in emerging markets. Under the partnership, WSPN will manage WUSD’s deployment on the Viction blockchain, boosting integration with Web3 applications and liquidity. Viction and NinetyEight will also drive local adoption in Vietnam through partnerships and community initiatives.
