<p>Changpeng Zhao, the co-founder of Binance, stated “Bitcoin is the future of money” in a two-day conference, Bitcoin MENA at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi. CZ Binance was one of the keynote speakers at the conference.</p>
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-cz-binance-countries-are-reconsidering-anti-bitcoin-stance"><strong>CZ Binance: Countries are Reconsidering Anti-Bitcoin Stance</strong></h2>
<p>In the Fireside Chat session with David Bailey, CEO of BTC Inc., Zhao discussed the future of <a href="https://www.thecoinrepublic.com/price-prediction/bitcoin/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitcoin</a>. “It will take a few generations to reach 100% Bitcoin adoption,” he said.</p>
<p>When asked about the pitch to countries to adopt BTC, Zhao responded,</p>

 <p>“Do you want the future of money? If you care about your money then you should care about the future of money.”</p>

<p>Considering the geopolitical situation, Zhao recalled how most countries tried to ban Bitcoin earlier. However, countries that had an arbitrarily negative stance are reconsidering their positions. He noted that this was because these countries recognized the power of BTC’s borderless technology.</p>
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-zhao-lists-suggestions-for-el-salvador-trump"><strong>Zhao Lists Suggestions for El Salvador, Trump</strong></h2>
<p>According to Zhao, China ‘is less transparent,’ hence, it is harder to predict whether it will adopt the BTC reserves like the US. Additionally, there is no known regulatory framework associated with China. The former Binance CEO thinks China may want to use Hong Kong as a Sandbox.</p>
<p>Zhao advised organizations to control their private keys by starting with a custodian solution where they will hold the private keys. “The best solutions are open source, self-custody, and multi-signature,” he added.</p>
<p>To make BTC the superpower in America, he advised that Trump can follow three big steps – stop regulation by enforcement, make clear regulations about cryptocurrency, and invest in the crypto industry.</p>
<p>For countries like El Salvador which have heavily invested in cryptocurrency, he suggested they use multiple signers in different parts of the world. He added that only a few people should know about all the signers to maintain secrecy.</p>
<p>As the former CEO of Binance, Zhao was not aware of the identity of the exchange’s signers, he recalled.</p>
<p>The former CEO of Binance firmly believes that crypto is a superior technology for money and transactions. “For the people who are still in doubt if BTC is a disruptive technology, Trump has mostly fixed the doubt,” he added.</p>
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-changpeng-zhao-s-new-stint-at-giggle-academy"><strong>Changpeng Zhao’s New Stint at Giggle Academy</strong></h2>
<p>Changpeng Zhao previously tweeted that he’s not interested in getting back as CEO of Binance. He just completed a 4-month prison sentence in connection with a settlement deal with US regulatory bodies.</p>
<p>After a long stint at Binance, Zhao is focused on providing cryptocurrency education. To provide basic grade 1-12 level education to the kids, he launched his online educational project, Giggle Academy in March 2024. The project aims to provide free online education with interactive and engaging games.</p>
