Pepe Layer 2 meme coin <a href="https://insidebitcoins.com/visit/pepeunchained" rel="nofollow">Pepe Unchained ($PEPU)</a>, the biggest meme coin presale of the year, launched on Uniswap today, soaring 45% to hit a market cap of $161 million.   
By press time the price had reached $0.02024 as the appetite for Layer 2 coins finds them leading the bounce back in prices after yesterday’s dip in crypto markets.   
Pepe Unchained’s Layer 2 blockchain will turn it into a meme coin launchpad powerhouse when its Pepe Pump Pad begins its roll out. It will bring no-code one-click meme coin generation to the Ethereum blockchain, but without the exorbitant fees and the slow transaction speeds.   
$PEPU began trading at 2pm UTC on decentralized exchanges and the team says the debut will be quickly followed by centralized exchange (CEX) listings.

Trading-pair liquidity is $3.8 million, locked for 11 months, while trading volume zoomed to $5 million within the first few minutes of trading.   
Although profit-taking by presale buyers did kick in, the price has rebounded from an enticing entry price level at around $0.0097. It shows there is strong support above the presale Stage 1 price level. In fact, $PEPU is now trading back above its listing price and headed toward new highs.
