 Binance, Upbit, and Bithumb are set to launch trading for Magic Eden’s native token, ME, beginning December 10, marking a major milestone for the Solana-based NFT marketplace.

Binance has<a style="color: #0000ff;" href="https://www.binance.com/en/support/announcement/binance-will-list-magic-eden-me-with-seed-tag-applied-d4f72bdd82d44a0591ee40d41f0b44d5" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> confirmed</a> that trading and withdrawals for ME will go live at 15:00 UTC. The exchange will offer ME in the following trading pairs: ME/BTC, ME/USDT, ME/FDUSD, and ME/TRY. Users can begin depositing ME in advance. However, Binance has flagged the token with a “seed” tag due to its relatively new status, requiring users to complete a quiz on the Binance Spot and Binance Margin platforms and agree to the exchange’s terms of use every 90 days to retain trading access.
<a style="color: #0000ff;" href="https://upbit.com/service_center/notice?id=4713" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Upbit</a> and<a style="color: #0000ff;" href="https://m-feed.bithumb.com/notice/1645308" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> Bithumb</a>, both major South Korean exchanges, will also list the ME token on December 10, with trading set to begin at 14:00 UTC. Upbit will support trading pairs with Korean won (KRW), Bitcoin (BTC), and Tether (USDT), while Bithumb will list the token with the Korean won at a base price of 2,286 won (approximately $1.59). Upbit’s deposits and withdrawals will open at 14:00 UTC, while trading times are still to be confirmed.
For both exchanges, deposits and withdrawals will be supported exclusively via the Solana network, and users must link a verified personal wallet address. Upbit warned that deposits made from linked wallets may require a return process, depending on the network used.
Bithumb announced that it would also introduce the SynFutures governance token, $F, alongside $ME and begin trading only after securing sufficient liquidity. The exchange stated that the specific trading start time would be announced later.
Meanwhile, both Upbit and Bithumb recently<a style="color: #0000ff;" href="https://defi-planet.com/2024/12/south-korean-crypto-exchanges-upbit-and-bithumb-to-list-movement-labs-move-token/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> listed</a> Movement Labs’ MOVE token on December 9, with Upbit offering trading pairs against KRW, Bitcoin, and USDT, while Bithumb supports only KRW pairs. Upbit set a minimum sell price of $0.33 and temporarily restricted certain orders after trading began.
