Donald Trump, who has abandoned his previous thoughts on Bitcoin (BTC) and cryptocurrencies and become a BTC and crypto advocate, is preparing to take office on January 20.
At this point, Trump, who brings cryptocurrency-friendly names to critical positions, is following Bitcoin closely.
While his sons, other than Trump, are also closely interested in Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency industry, Donald Trump's second son, Eric Trump, made statements about Bitcoin.
Speaking at the Bitcoin MENA event in Abu Dhabi, Eric Trump said he believes Bitcoin is a better investment vehicle than real estate.
Eric Trump noted that his family made their fortune through real estate investments but sees greater advantages in Bitcoin.
Eric Trump emphasized that Bitcoin’s biggest advantage over real estate is liquidity. Eric pointed out that it can take five years to build a hotel and another two years to sell it, and that real estate investments are less liquid.
However, unlike real estate, Bitcoin eliminates the need for bankers, lawyers or other intermediaries and is not vulnerable to physical risks such as fire, flood, hurricanes or tornadoes.
Eric Trump stated that investing in Bitcoin is an investment in the future, that early adopters will succeed, while those who hesitate may be left behind.
Eric Trump recently announced his predictions about the price of Bitcoin. At this point, Eric Trump, who predicted that BTC would reach $1 million in the future, emphasized that Bitcoin is not only an investment tool, but also a global asset that has value against inflation, political instability and natural disasters.
Eric Trump, who also called on governments and banks to adapt to Bitcoin technology, added that the Trump family fully supports Bitcoin.
