The Raydium price surged over 23% in the last 24 hours to trade at $5.58 as of 6:27 a.m. EST as traders FOMO buy the altcoin. 
The strong 24-hour performance posted by the RAY price comes after leading crypto exchange Binance announced that it would list the crypto on its futures platform. 
 Following the announcement, Raydium has also emerged as the top performer over the last 24 hours among the biggest cryptos by market cap, beating the 20% gain posted by Bitget Token (BGB) during the same period.

The Raydium price <a href="https://www.tradingview.com/x/VvAihKW2/">breached</a> the resistance level at $5.2510 and was able to briefly do the same with the next mark at $5.5581 before it pulled back again. Should the crypto manage to close a 4-hour candle above $5.5581 within the next 12 hours, it could have the technical foundation needed to keep climbing. Traders might then push RAY up to $5.9164. 
However, a rejection from the $5.5581 mark could invalidate the bullish thesis. In this alternative scenario, the <a href="https://insidebitcoins.com/news/top-crypto-gainers-today-dec-08-jito-superverse-raydium-mantra-dao">Raydium</a> price might retest the $5.2510 mark. Falling below this recently-flipped price level could then lead to RAY dropping to $4.8586 or even as low as $4.4491 if the bearish pressure persists. 
<h2 id="span-style-font-weight-400-technicals-suggest-the-raydium-price-might-keep-climbing-span">Technicals Suggest The Raydium Price Might Keep Climbing</h2> 
From a technical standpoint, indicators on the crypto’s 4-hour chart suggest the Raydium price might keep climbing in the coming 24 hours. Both the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) and the Relative Strength Index (RSI) point to a continuation of the crypto’s positive trend. 
RSI readings have risen from the neutral 50 benchmark to the high 60s, which could be seen as a sign of bullish strength. With the positive slope of the RSI line, it seems buyers are still growing stronger against sellers as well and might subsequently push the Raydium price up in the short term. 
Meanwhile, the MACD line crossed above the MACD Signal line in the last 24 hours. Traders usually see this technical event as a sign that a <a href="https://insidebitcoins.com/news/most-trending-cryptocurrencies-on-polygon-planetix-wifi-map-vendetta">crypto</a> has entered a positive trend. This technical flag has since been validated by the surge in RAY’s price. With the gap between the MACD and MACD Signal lines growing, it seems RAY’s bullish momentum is intensifying. 
If these bullish technical signs influence traders’ decision making, the crypto might soon overcome the aforementioned $5.5581 barrier and try to rise to $5.9164. 
While RAY looks to overcome a technical resistance, investors are flocking to new meme coin <a href="https://insidebitcoins.com/visit/catslap" rel="nofollow">Catslap (SLAP)</a>, a new viral crypto that the rumor mill says could be following Raydium onto Binance.
