 OKX has <a href="https://www.okx.com/help/okx-to-list-perpetual-futures-for-virtual-sundog-crypto" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">announced</a> the launch of USDT-margined perpetual futures for Virtual Protocol’s token (VIRTUAL) and the Tron-based meme coin SUNDOG.

Trading for these contracts will begin on December 11, 2024. The VIRTUAL/USDT perpetual futures will be available from 10:00 UTC while trading for SUNDOG/USDT will start at 10:15 UTC.
The contracts offer leverage options ranging from 0.01x to a maximum of 50x. Additionally, both contracts feature a funding fee of +1.50% and -1.50%, calculated every four hours, with zero interest charges. OKX has capped the funding fee at 0.03% to stabilize initial trading activity until 16:00 UTC on December 11. The standard funding fee will resume afterwards and be applied during the 20:00 UTC funding calculation. For both perpetual contracts, the tick size is set at 0.0001.
Virtual Protocol’s token (VIRTUAL) has experienced significant market momentum, rising nearly 4% in the past 24 hours to $1.68. Over the last week, the token has increased by 3% and almost doubled in value, rising nearly 100% in the past two weeks, <a style="color: #0000ff;" href="https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/virtual-protocol" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">according</a> to CoinGecko. VIRTUAL has a market capitalization exceeding $1.6 billion, with a 24-hour trading volume of $267 million and a circulating supply of 1 billion tokens.
Recently,<a style="color: #0000ff;" href="https://defi-planet.com/2024/11/okx-expands-to-belgium-offering-extensive-crypto-trading-ecosystem/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> OKX officially launched its services in Belgium</a>, marking a significant step in its global expansion strategy. This move provides Belgian residents access to OKX’s comprehensive cryptocurrency trading and management ecosystem. Belgian users can now use spot trading and conversion services for over 200 cryptocurrencies, including more than 60 trading pairs involving euros.&nbsp;
The platform also supports seamless Euro deposits and withdrawals through Bancontact, Belgium’s top online payment system, and SEPA transfers, both offered free of charge. To streamline the onboarding process, new users can register effortlessly using itsme, Belgium’s widely-used digital identification app, ensuring an intuitive and secure experience for accessing OKX’s services.
