In a recent interview <a href="https://x.com/Xaif_03/status/1866787685437702293?s=19" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">shared</a> on X, by Xaif (@Xaif_03), Ripple President Monica Long highlighted a massive opportunity for the company in the stablecoin market.
With RLUSD, Ripple is positioning itself at the forefront of the rapidly expanding stablecoin market, projected to grow from over $200 billion to over $3 trillion within a few years.
In the interview, Long highlighted the transformative potential of stablecoins in reshaping global payment systems. RLUSD has been ready for some time, with Long noting in her interview that the asset was “operationally ready.” After an extended regulatory process, the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) recently <a href="https://timestabloid.com/rlusd-wins-regulatory-approval-ripple-ceo-confirms-heres-what-is-next/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">approved the stablecoin</a>, and the company has plans to launch it soon.
