<p>As 2024 draws to a close, this week will see rate decisions from the Federal Reserve, the Bank of England, and the Bank of Japan. Bitcoin surged this morning, breaking its all-time high to reach $106,648. Although the Fed is poised to cut rates, the approach of 2025 and the incoming Trump administration&#39;s threat of imposing tariffs, which could lead to import inflation, might make officials hesitant about further actions.</p><p>The Bank of England (BOE), considering the potential economic growth impact from its trade policies and persistent price pressures, is expected to keep rates unchanged this time.</p><p>The Bank of Japan, which finally exited negative interest rates this year, might wait until 2025 for another rate hike. However, some analysts recently suggest an increased likelihood of a rate increase, and the market is watching for signs of policy adjustment.</p><h2 id="header-1">MicroStrategy Officially Joined the Nasdaq 100 Index</h2><p>According to CNBC, MicroStrategy, which positions itself as a Bitcoin development company, has officially been added to the Nasdaq 100 Index, effective before the market opens on December 23.
