Upbit, South Korea's largest cryptocurrency exchange, has announced that it will soon support the trading of the new digital asset VANA.
The deposit function for VANA is set to open on December 16 at 19:00 KST, with trading to begin once liquidity is deemed sufficient. VANA will be available across three trading pairs: KRW, BTC, and USDT. Deposits and transactions will operate on the Vana Network, a specialized blockchain platform.
The Vana Network is a layer-1 blockchain compatible with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) standards. Its core mission is to enable private, secure, and user-controlled data transactions, empowering individuals to reclaim ownership of their personal data. The platform also facilitates the creation of user-owned artificial intelligence systems by providing unique datasets to researchers and ensuring fair value distribution for data creators.
$VANA, the network’s native token, serves as the backbone of the Vana ecosystem. It enables secure, decentralized transactions and incentivizes a fair data economy while supporting the network's innovative features.
