This downturn comes amid a broader market bloodbath triggered by the Federal Reserve’s recent interest rate cut.

Investors reacted with a “sell-the-news” mentality, resulting in a dramatic $1.5 trillion loss in the U.S. stock market and over $310 million in crypto liquidations within just 24 hours. 
XRP was particularly hard hit, plummeting to a low of $2.23, erasing gains made from the recent launch of RLUSD. 
Although the altcoin has seen a slight recovery, now trading around $2.31, it remains in a precarious position.
