In her statement on social media, Welch emphasized the seriousness of the situation.

Following this incident, a lawsuit was filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.

A spokesperson for overHere stated, “We have been extremely transparent about our limited involvement in the Hawk Tuah <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/investors-show-high-interest-in-pepe-coin/" data-wpel-link="internal" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">token</a> project. We are confident that we did nothing wrong.” The company attributed the chaos surrounding the project to Alexander Larson Shultz, known as “Doc Hollywood.”

It is noted that the HAWK token raised approximately $2.8 million during its presale phase and was offered to investors at a valuation of $16.69 million. The immediate loss in value after the launch raised suspicions that the project was orchestrated to specifically target the American market.
Although Welch was not named in the lawsuit, she emphasized the gravity of the situation and reiterated her commitment to full cooperation in the legal process. Steps will be taken to address the losses experienced by investors.
