Other participants include Oak Grove Ventures, Skyland Ventures, GeekCartel, Gate.io, and Presto. This funding marks a pivotal step in DuckChain’s mission to improve TON’s scalability and functionality. 
The project plans to use the funds to enhance Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility, attract users from other blockchain ecosystems, and introduce new liquidity to strengthen the TON network’s ecosystem. As part of its growth strategy, DuckChain has secured partnerships with industry leaders such as Arbitrum, OKX Wallet, and OnePieceLab, reinforcing its position in the blockchain market. 
In collaboration with its partners, DuckChain has<a href="https://build.bewater.xyz/en/campaigns/pKxK-DuckChain-Hackathon-Yellow-Duck-Mission"> announced</a> the Yellow Duck Mission Hackathon, which fosters innovation in decentralized applications (dApps). Scheduled to run from December 15, 2024, to January 15, 2025, the hackathon invites developers and creators to explore tracks ranging from DeFi protocols and AI-powered apps to meme-centric platforms. 
With a total prize pool of $1 million in DuckChain Tokens, top-performing projects will receive $500,000, while creative and community-driven initiatives will share rewards of $200,000 and $50,000, respectively. Participants will also gain opportunities for international exposure, potential investments, and a platform to showcase their technologies to the Web3 community. Submissions open on December 15, and interested developers can register via the DuckChain Hackathon Portal. 
In a related development,<a href="https://defi-planet.com/2024/08/line-messenger-to-introduce-mini-dapps-with-kaia-blockchain-partnership/"> LINE, the Japanese messaging giant,</a> has partnered with the Kaia DLT Foundation to integrate mini-decentralized applications (mini dApps) within its messaging platform. As part of the Kaia Wave initiative, launched to empower Web3 developers, LINE aims to leverage its massive user base in Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, and Indonesia to promote blockchain adoption. Developers will use Kaia’s NEXT WEB SDK to create mini dApps within the LINE Messenger app, reflecting the growing demand for decentralized solutions on mainstream platforms.
