Applying Wyckoff Price Cycle to $BTC, it is clear that the whales accumulated when $BTC was Oversold in the Accumulation Area. They waited in the Markup period, in which the Demand was greater than the Supply in the market.

Until $BTC was Overbought in the Distribution Area, they started to sell or short the market. After the market's Supply was greater than Demand in the Markdown period, the market entered Accumulation Area again and the whales did the same thing.
