🇺🇸 US Will Sell $117M Of Bitcoin From Silk Road Convict
Summary:
The US plans to sell approximately $117 million of Bitcoin confiscated from convicted Silk Road drug trafficker, Ryan Farace. The notice sets a 60-day period for claims linked to the seized assets, after which the US will have clear title to the property. Over 2,933 Bitcoin were recovered from the Farace family, amount being valued at around $133.5 million upon the forfeiture notice’s issuance. Ryan Farace and his father, Joseph Farace, received prison sentences of 54 and 19 months respectively on January.
