The biggest obstacle to Bitcoin becoming a reserve currency might not be politicians but Ripple itself. Ripple is reportedly aiming to create a central bank digital currency (CBDC) a digital dollar on its own network.

I hope this isn’t true because Ripple $XRP would destroy itself with such a move. Bitcoin $BTC is the only true standard.

What do you think? Has anyone heard anything about this?
