<p>Arthur Hayes, who is a co-founder of BitMEX, often likes to predict where Bitcoin price could go from the current levels. With the market now seeing positive momentum, he again weighed in.</p>
<p>Hayes believes Bitcoin will reach $110,000 before dropping back to $76,500. His prediction is based on the Federal Reserve changing its approach from quantitative tightening to quantitative easing for Treasury bonds. He also thinks tariffs won’t have much impact because inflation is temporary, referring to comments made by Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell.</p>
<p>The Federal Reserve seems to be shifting its stance on crypto. Powell recently said banks can work with crypto clients as long as they manage risks properly. This change could help crypto businesses with payments, stablecoins, and other digital assets.</p>

<p>The Federal Reserve made another important change. They will no longer look at “reputational risk” when reviewing applications for master accounts. This means more crypto businesses might get access to banking services, making it easier to exchange between traditional money and crypto.</p>
<p>President Donald Trump has also supported crypto by<a href="https://captainaltcoin.com/trump-announces-crypto-reserve-bitcoin-xrp-and-altcoin-prices-pump/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> signing an order to create a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve</a>. This reserve will treat Bitcoin as an asset and will be funded with confiscated Bitcoin. The US government has promised not to sell Bitcoin that goes into this reserve.</p>
<p>The crypto market is doing well right now. After the Fed’s latest meeting, where<a href="https://www.cnbc.com/2025/03/19/fed-rate-decision-march-2025.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> interest rates stayed between 4.25% and 4.50%</a>, Bitcoin’s price has gone up. It’s now trading at $87,500, the highest since March 7. This upward movement supports Hayes’s prediction about Bitcoin’s future price.</p>
