It was the contribution of our users that drove the rapid growth of the CDBC ecosystem. Now we want to take the idea of user contribution-driven growth to the next level, rewarding users by sharing the added value created in the CDBC ecosystem with them. To achieve this objective, we are launching a coin economy through the introduction of blockchain technology into our platforms, enabling us to provide an optimized means of sharing value with anyone in the digital world within any given blockchains inner Cloudbit ecosystem.

With this in mind, we created Cloudbit Classic. Cloudbit Classic will become the base digital coins for services in the CDBC - coins economy. Developed with an independent blockchain mainnet that is capable of processing a huge volume of transactions, Cloudbit Classic will be used throughout the CLOUDBIT ecosystem and developed decentralized applications (”dApps"). With Cloudbit Classic, we aim to build a coin economy that can be used by anyone, conveniently and naturally in their daily lives within the CLOUDBIT ecosystem.

As an Binance based BEP-20 token, Cloudbit Classic (CDBC) is secured by the proof-of-stake (PoS) consensus mechanism. Unlike the proof-of-work (PoW) consensus utilized by Bitcoin, PoS relies on the amount of staked tokens for selecting node validators. Max/Total supply is 200,000,000 CDBC.

PoS protocols were created with the idea to battle the vast power consumption required by PoW systems. PoS models are becoming increasingly popular as they need less electrical power and are easily scalable. While PoW has proven itself a reliable consensus mechanism, Binance and all other BEP-20 tokens have been growing rapidly and setting the trend in the space.
