Wow, this is absolutely cruel.

A family out of Pennsylvania, seems to be another victim of government overreach and neglect.

Heres the back story

Baby The Deer was born and abandoned near the footsteps of an elderly woman's home, a neighbor of Tammy Shiery, in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. She initially left baby dear alone to see if Baby’s mother would come back. She waited for a long while before taking matters into her own hands. She quickly found out that Baby had leg issues, couldn’t walk properly, and needed extra care, it’s thought that this is why Baby was abandoned by it’s mother.

Tammy first saw Baby wondering from her neighbors house to hers. Baby immediately came up to Tammy and licked her hand, this is where their friendship started.

Over time Tammy took it upon herself to provide better living conditions, a large shed with a nice bed of hay for sleeping, a specialized diet, vet appointments. She also tried to get Baby licensed legally but was always stuck waiting to hear back. Tammy went even further vaccinating Baby to the same standards that Deer farms in the state of PA are mandated to follow. She treated Baby with ivermectin as well just for good maintenance as many people do for pets and livestock.

Tammy is a caretaker for Candi, Candi is wheelchair bound, so they decided to certify Baby as an emotional support animal. The red collar the that the media claims “was just a dog collar” was actually used to identify Baby as a certified emotional support animal. Over the two years they had Baby, Baby became like family to them. For Candi, Baby let her feel connected to nature and she loved to just watch Baby play in the yard. Giving Baby a good life made their lives feel special.

The last few days have been traumatic, as anyone who watches the video can see. There was gross negligence on the way that the PA Gaming Commission handled the situation. During the removal of Baby from his home, in the heat of the moment, Tammy wanted to protect Baby, as everyone can see in the video of the incident.

Now Tammy, having lost her deer, has been charged with Obstruction and must appear in court to defend herself in the coming weeks. The Pennsylvania Gaming Commission has not given any information to Tammy about the health and wellness of Baby’s current conditions.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Commission, and the Department of Agriculture are now claiming that Tammy was missing one required document that allowed her to legally own Baby as a pet. The document pertained to chronic waste disease. This is what makes Tammy’s case even strong, Baby has been vaccinated chronic waste disease.

Andy Harvey, an information and education supervisor with the Game Commission's Southwest Region Office recently stated.

"As for Baby's fate, it'll be a tough call.

“Frankly, we just don't know at this point. I will assure everybody it was not just taken down the road and euthanized, it was taken to a licensed facility”
