Several features make Wayfinder AI unique. Wayfinder's native token (called PROMPT) is proposed to have a maximum authorized supply of 1 billion tokens, subject to community governance approval. PROMPT serves multiple functions within the Wayfinder ecosystem. Users spend PROMPT to activate Wayfinder shells, which is the first step to participating in creating agents. Wayfinder shells spend PROMPT as they engage with both the network and other shells, and it serves as gas within the network, with fees shared between Wayfinding path developers and the protocol. PROMPT is staked when proposing new Wayfinding paths, with tokens remaining staked as long as the path is active and subject to slashing if routing is incorrect. Users can spend PROMPT for shell memory expansion, memory resetting, and hiring Verification Agents to test paths before use. PROMPT also functions as the governance vehicle within Wayfinder, allowing token holders to oversee the future direction of the network.
