MultiversX is a blockchain protocol that seeks to offer extremely fast transaction speeds by using sharding. The project describes itself as a technology ecosystem for the new internet, which includes fintech, decentralized finance and the Internet of Things. Its smart contracts execution platform is reportedly capable of 15,000 transactions per second, six-second latency and a $0.001 transaction cost.

MultiversX rewards the community and active participants with EGLD tokens. EGLD, or Electronic Gold, is MultiversX's native token. It acts as a store of value currency to pay for network usage. The coin also serves as a medium of exchange between platform users and validators. Users pay transaction fees in EGLD and validators provide services.

EGLD allows developers to deploy smart contracts, protocols, and dApps on the platform. It empowers participants to perform any network action. Through staking and validation rewards, as well as transaction fees, EGLD manages the MultiversX network. Plus, EGLD is endowed with the functionality of a governance token, so its holders can vote on network decisions.

MultiversX was first announced in August 2019, and its mainnet went live in July 2020.

Safe is the ownership layer of web3 securing >$100B+. It includes Safe{Core} a full stack of account abstraction infrastructure and the industry-standard multi-sig, Safe{Wallet}. The project is focused on making every Ethereum account, a smart account and enabling new use cases like AI, Staking, Gaming, SocialFi, DeFi, and Payments to flourish with  gasless transaction, easy face-ID like logins, onramps, recovery and more. Safe currently has a large ecosystem of 200+ projects including Gnosis Pay and Worldcoin, deployed in over 15 networks, building on the Safe smart account standard. Safe{Wallet} is also used widely by individuals like Vitalik Buterin, Punk6529 as well as web2 giants like Shopify and Reddit for self-custody of assets and high value NFTs.

As of April 2023, over 8M Safe accounts have been created, making >40 million transactions. The open-source contracts are battle-tested and have been formally verified and audited multiple times. There have been no critical security incidents since Safe was deployed in 2018 and Safe remains the benchmark of security in the industry.

GateChain is a public blockchain which facilitates digital asset transfers, and claims to be “dedicated to asset safety.”

The network’s native token is GateToken (GT). It’s mainly used to pay transaction fees, but users can also stake it to validate transactions and secure the network in exchange for rewards.

GateChain offers an on-chain wallet for users to manage their digital assets directly on the network itself, thereby eliminating the need for a third-party wallet. It’s also fully integrated with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), making it easy to deploy Ethereum-based smart contracts on the platform.

The development roadmap is set with three main goals:

MX TOKEN (MX) is the native cryptocurrency token released by centralized exchange (CEX) MEXC in 2019. MX powers the MEXC ecosystem and provides its holders with access to unique functionality and other benefits of the platform. Holders have the right to vote on business decisions, team elections and gain priority participation in activities and more.

Before starting Stratis, Trew's background was in enterprise information technology. He also operated an internet marketing and search engine optimization business.

Within the crypto and blockchain industry, Trew was a volunteer developer for the cryptocurrency project Blitz and social networking platform The Viral Exchange.

KCS is the native token of KuCoin, which was launched back in 2017 as a profit-sharing token that allows traders to draw value from the exchange. It was issued as an ERC-20 token running on the Ethereum network and was supported by most Ethereum wallets. The total supply of KCS was set at 200 million, and there is a planned buyback and burn until just 100 million KCS remain. Sooner or later, as the KuCoin decentralized trading solution goes live, KCS will be the native asset of KuCoin's decentralized financial services as well as the governance token of the KuCoin community in the future.

KuCoin has also announced that “Empowering KCS'' will be a key priority of KuCoin and will build KCS as a killer product rather than a simple token, which is bound to further diversify the benefits that KCS holders can access. In the long run, KCS performs as the key to the entire KuCoin ecosystem. With the development of DEX and KuChain, KCS will also be the underlying fuel and general token for future KuCoin decentralized products. More details will likely be released in the near future.

Bitcoin SV (BSV) emerged following a hard fork of the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) blockchain in 2018, which had in turn forked from the BTC blockchain a year earlier following the blocksize wars.

BSV claims to fulfill the original vision of the Bitcoin protocol and design as described in Satoshi Nakamoto’s white paper, early Bitcoin client software and known Satoshi writings. BSV aims to offer scalability and stability in line with the original description of Bitcoin as a peer-to-peer electronic cash system, as well as deliver a distributed data network that can support enterprise-level advanced blockchain applications.

To this end, it has removed artificial block size limits and re-enabled Script commands and other technical capabilities which had been historically disabled or restricted by the protocol developers of the BTC blockchain. This purportedly allows the network to process tens of thousands of transactions per second while maintaining extremely low transaction fees for micropayments, in addition to offering advanced capabilities such as tokens, smart contracts, computation and other data use cases.

The BSV network claims to be unique in its capacity for unbounded on-chain scaling while also being more aligned with the original design of Bitcoin than any other blockchain.
