At launch, SOPH will serve two core functions that form the foundation of the Sophon Network:

SOPH powers all network transactions. But here's where we're different: users don't always need to hold SOPH themselves.

Thanks to our native paymaster technology, applications can sponsor gas fees for users – eliminating one of crypto's biggest adoption barriers.

2️⃣ Staking

Staking launches at TGE, initially with the Sophon Foundation operating the only Full Node. As ZKsync enables decentralized sequencing, operators with 1500+ NFT delegations from Guardians will be able to operate Full Nodes themselves.

Full Nodes stake 100,000 SOPH and earn a portion of gas fees.

Any SOPH holder will be able to stake directly within the Claim window when claiming your tokens, and soon on Sophon Home’s Earn section by autodelegating or selecting a Full Node.

Rewards compound automatically and are distributed every ~15 minutes.

Our Ethereum-inspired reward system makes the total supply of SOPH deflationary, as unutilized tokens are burned or distributed periodically.

SOPH Airdrop

On top of the 600M SOPH (6% of max supply) being distributed to L1 Farmers, we're distributing an additional 300M SOPH (3% of max supply) to early supporters across multiple categories.
