The Average Price of Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs Has Decreased
The average price of Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs has decreased, likely due to a general drawdown in the overall NFT market, following events like the Azuki Elementals reveal. The BAYC floor price has since reclaimed the 30 ETH level, and is currently trading at 30.78 ETH.
The floor price has more than halved since the start of April, when the collection was trading at 64 ETH, around $124,000. BAYC is one of the largest NFT collections by sales volume, with a trading volume of 1.4 million ETH.
Notable BAYC holders like Franklin sold 27 of his Bored Apes, while last month, controversial figure Machi Big Brother sold 50 Apes in one weekend, including 19 Apes sold on marketplace Blur for 651 ETH, or nearly $1.26 million.
