Ferrari Will Accept Crypto Payments for Its Luxury Supercars in the U.S.

In response to rising client demand, Ferrari, the renowned luxury car maker, plans to accept cryptocurrency payments for its premium sports cars. Ferrari's Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer, Enrico Galliera, confirmed the strategic shift. It is the outcome of dealer requests and an increase in digital currency investments, notably by young investors.

Ferrari's plan to enter the crypto payment field is intended to broaden the company's customer base beyond its usual clientele. They intend to launch crypto payments across Europe by the first quarter of 2024, followed by expansion into additional crypto-friendly regions. Ferrari has teamed with BitPay, a major cryptocurrency payment processor, in the initial US phase, facilitating transactions in Bitcoin, Ether, and USD Coin.
