According to attorney Mark Cohen, former FTX CEO Sam "SBF" Bankman-Fried is scheduled to testify as part of his defense case.
Cohen claimed in a phone conference on October 25 that following the prosecution's case presentation on October 26, they planned to call Bankman-Fried and three additional witnesses to the stand. The defense expects to question the witnesses for three days.
The US government is expected to conclude its case against Bankman-Fried on October 26, with the defense likely to end the following day. The use of a special verdict in the trial was also addressed. Bankman-Fried's testimony will come after testimonies from former FTX and Alameda executives who admitted to committing crimes at the instruction of SBF.
