New restrictions to Sam Bankman-Fried's bail have been proposed that would seriously curtail his internet use.

A letter written to the judge by U.S. Attorney General Damian Williams — on behalf of both parties — suggests that SBF will be limited to using a flip phone with no access to the web.

However, he would be allowed to use a laptop for the purposes of keeping up-to-date on the news, and preparing for his criminal trial in October.

They include CoinMarketCap, a number of crypto publications, mainstream outlets including The New York Times, as well as FTX.com.

A few sites for personal use have been included as well — including Netflix, YouTube, DoorDash, Uber Eats, Spotify and NFL.com.

In addition to this, he would be limited to specific applications including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and Notepad.

All of this comes after the judge was left frustrated by SBF's conduct while under house arrest at his parent's home in California.

The 30-year-old used the encrypted messaging app Signal to contact a current FTX employee — leading to allegations that this could be an attempt at witness tampering.

Prosecutors also warned that he had used a VPN, but the former billionaire had insisted that this was for the sole purpose of watching the Super Bowl.
